Meet Our Principal

Dear Bridgeport Community,

Hello!  My name is Jordan Mills and I am thrilled to be the principal here at Bridgeport Elementary!  If you are a part of our Bridgeport community, you know that this really is a special place. Our students are empathetic, resilient and hard working, supporting each other through and through!  And this staff is made up of some of the most dedicated and talented educators you will ever meet. We are all very fortunate to be surrounded by families and community partners that care so deeply about the success of our little bulldogs.  I cannot thank this community enough for the time and resources that are contributed and also for its ongoing advocacy for our students. 

I have been a part of the Tigard-Tualatin community for most of my life and am now happy to call Tualatin my home.  I began as a kindergarten student at Metzger Elementary many years ago. My husband and I met as students at Tigard High School and we now have two little girls and a sweet little dog.  I have experience teaching third grade, Spanish literacy, English Language Development both abroad and at Metzger, and assisting the Principal as a Teacher on Special Assignment. I love this work and cannot imagine doing it anywhere else.

 At Bridgeport we know that all students can meet and exceed our high expectations and we will support them in doing so.  Our school is a safe, positive place where all students are valued and celebrated for their differences. We believe that family and community collaboration is a powerful tool in supporting our students’ successful growth.  I look forward to working with you this school year and in the years to come.
