Getting Involved at Bridgeport

At Bridgeport Elementary, we believe our school is strongest when families and community members work together. Volunteering is a powerful way to support students, build connections, and make a lasting difference. Whether you’re helping in the classroom, joining events, or lending your skills behind the scenes, your time and energy directly enrich our students’ learning and sense of belonging. Together, we create a welcoming school community where every child can thrive.

2. Stay Informed
   1. Look for our updates in the Barker (the school’s bi-weekly newsletter).
   2. Attend virtual PTO meetings or in person in the library on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6pm.
3. Be Involved: 
   1. Volunteer! The PTO is a 100% volunteer run organization! People donate their time and talents to bettering our school community.
      1. Complete the school district’s volunteer application form
      2. Contact our volunteer coordinators at bridgeportvolunteercoordinator@gmail.com 
   2. Attend events! Whether it is a drive-through event to commemorate the end of a distance learning year or an in-person family educational night, we welcome you and your family to participate in PTO events.
